This Centre aims to constitute a forum for stimulating and conducting interdisciplinary research and disseminating knowledge on the areas of law, economics and business with a comparative and contextual focus on the UK, EU and China. The Centre shall foster collaborative research in a number of interdisciplinary areas of law, economics and business. The Centre will focus on advancing legal and economic scholarship, bring together scholars, policymakers and practitioners in law, economics and business from these jurisdictions and influence the development and application of law, economics and business in practice through research projects, conferences, teaching, publications and student exchange.
The Centre aims to become one of the leading Institutes globally for the interdisciplinary study of the cross section of law, economics and business in the UK, EU and China. It aims to constitute a catalyst for dialogue, thought leadership and scholarship. This Centre will constitute the point of reference for a detailed understanding of the cross disciplinary intersection and the intertwined co-existence of these disciplines in many areas of law.
