Through an active partnership between CCLS and the Paris Bar School (EFB), we have established a unique arrangement whereby EFB students may study the LLM in International Business Law in Paris in parallel with their training for the Paris bar.
The Paris LLM programme qualifies as a Projet Pédagogique Individuel (PPI). EFB students undertake taught modules within the January semester, and complete a dissertation in order to fulfil the requirements of the LLM and the PPI.
Besides obtaining a degree from a prestigious University like Queen Mary and improving my legal English, one of the main reasons I chose this LLM was the extremely convenient planning. I could finish all the LLM modules within the six-month period of the PPI (Projet Pédagogique Individuel) without having to take a gap year.— Dane Rimsevica, LLM Intellectual Property, Paris
Prospective and current EFB students apply for the LLM through the standard online application form.
We strongly recommend that students apply in good time, even before your place at the EFB is secured. There is no application fee involved.
We further recommend that students take the English language requirements of the programme into consideration well before the deadline, to ensure that you have arranged your test and acquired the results in time to guarantee your place. Note that it is possible to apply for the LLM without including English language test scores at the outset. Depending on the other elements in your dossier, any offer made would be conditional until such time as you then upload your test results for review, which may be after the application deadline but must be before the start of the academic year in Paris.

Doing an LLM has always been part of my plans. One of the many advantages the LLM with the renowned Queen Mary University of London, offered in Paris, was the fact that I could do this LLM within my Paris Bar School training (Projet Pédagogique Individuel) and hence complete the taught elements within 6 months. It is true that doing all the modules within one semester required some discipline and implied at times a considerable workload, but was definitely worthwhile. The LLM with Queen Mary allowed me to significantly improve both my linguistic and English legal skills, which is of great help on a daily basis in my professional life as a lawyer and was also a unique personal experience with great fellow students with whom I shared a very good time.— Julian Kisslinger, LLM International Business Law, Paris
