Christopher Millard spoke on 'Clouds from both sides: Cloud 2.0 and beyond' at the International Bar Association Annual Conference in Rome, Italy. This session examined the premise that cloud provisioning is now all but inescapable, before exploring what that means for lawyers – in their own business and their clients’ – and the need to embrace the inevitability of where technology is going. From there, the session considered security concerns, regulatory concerns, the benefits of moving to the cloud, and then looked ahead to where we will be in the short to medium term.
