Profile

Dr Bronagh Byrne is Senior Lecturer in Social Policy, Co-Director of the Centre for Children's Rights and Programme Director for the Master's in Children's Rights at Queen's University Belfast. Bronagh was also co-founder of the Disability Research Network at Queen's. She sits on the editorial board of the International Journal of Disability and Social Justice.

Expertise

Bronagh's expertise lies in the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN Convention on the Rights of Person's with Disabilities in national law, policy and practice. She has a particular interest in the rights of children with disabilities and the right to inclusive education.
