Profile

Michael is a doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law. He is completing his dissertation on the informational privacy of children from their parents. Michael's research draws from from law, privacy studies, media studies, and childhood studies. He has also published on various ethical and legal issues in data-intensive biomedical research (see key publications and/or his ORCiD profile below). He is a fellow of the Schwartz Reisman Institute for Technology and Society (Toronto) and affiliate of the Information Law Institute (NYU).
