Her research interests include the practice and implementation of policy-making; social movements; international human rights; gender, the family and the state; queer theory; and indigenous issues. She is currently completing a DPhil in Law at the University of Oxford in which she examines the realisation of the economic-social and cultural rights of single parent families utilising the UN human rights law framework. At Oxford she also taught Public International Law, and serves as Secretary of the Oxford Children's Rights Network hosted by the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights (Mansfield College). She was a finalist for the Oxford University Vice-Chancellor’s inaugural Diversity Awards.
