Profile

I earned my Ph.D. from Fordham University. I am a Professor of Sociology, former chair and now deputy chair of Sociology, at Lehman College, City University of New York, as well as faculty advisor to the Sociological honor society (AKD). Author/coauthor of six books on minorities and many peer reviewed articles, including six on adoption to and from the United States, stressing issues on children’s rights and social justice.
