His research interests coalesce around humanitarian responses to conflict-affected and displaced populations with particular attention to children. At Bath he directs and teaches on an innovative blended-learning Masters on 'Humanitarianism, Conflict & Development'. He has recently concluded an FCDO / AHRC funded study of neglect focussed on refugee children in Gaza, Palestine and Jordan.
