Out of the 10 research and networking projects I have managed as Principal Investigator, 8 have been funded by external bodies. Much of this research has concentrated on Ghana and Nigeria and has been published in a number of edited collections as well as in peer-reviewed journals. I am also the lead co-editor of three edited collections: Childhoods at the Intersection of the Global and the Local (Palgrave, 2012), Children’s Lives in an Era of Children’s Rights: The Progress of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in Africa (Routledge, December 2013) Global Childhoods Beyond the North-South Divide (Palgrave, 2018). I am currently a series editor for the Palgrave Macmillan Study of Childhood and Youth Series and Editorial Board Member for Third World Thematics, Children & Society, Childhood: A Journal of Global Child Research and the Rutgers Series in Childhood Studies.
