Her research focuses on the entanglements between colonialism and constructions of childhood, especially the ways that colonially-informed logics of the human, structured by race and disability, inform what is understood to be natural or normal about childhood. Most recently, her work explored these connections within the context of Waldorf elementary schools, examining how Waldorf educators navigate colonial legacies in the ways in which they understand childhood.
