Profile

Dr. Carly McLaughlin is a lecturer in Anglophone literatures and cultures in the Department of English and American Studies at the University of Potsdam. Her research is at the intersection of childhood studies and forced migration studies, with a focus on how the politics of childhood influences how child migrants are perceived and treated, especially within the context of illegalized migration.
