Profile

Ewajesu Okewumi is a PhD Candidate at the University of Edinburgh. She has an academic background in Sociology (development) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Ewajesu has worked as a research assistant on different projects leading qualitative data collection and analysis. She has co-authored several publications including book chapters, journal articles and conference papers on topics related to children and youth studies, sociology, sociological theories, gender and feminism. Her current research broadly focuses on Children’s participation rights and public decision-making. She is passionate about evidence-based research and policy.
