Dr. Jennifer Shaw is a cultural anthropologist and multimodal ethnographer. Her research interests include migrant labour, transnational care, social and economic precarity, kinship, and ethnographic and child-focused methods including participatory photography, drawing, and storytelling. Her research has examined parental labour migration, caregiving, transnational childhoods, and transnational adoption and has been featured in Global Studies of Childhood, Children & Society, and Anthropology of Work Review.
