Hiroharu Saito is an Associate Professor of Law and Society at the Institute of Social Science, the University of Tokyo. He is a social scientist and a legal scholar, whose research interests center around children and youth. He conducts empirical legal studies mainly in a quantitative manner while he also writes theoretical law articles from social scientific perspectives.
