I am interested in child experiences of crisis - whether disaster or conflict. I worked on the project exploring how small-scale humanitarian initiatives organized by Italy for the Chernobyl and Fukushima children have shaped their life trajectories. I am currently developing a new project idea on transnational surrogacy.
