Dr El-Kaddar qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute with Honours in the Practice of Clinical Dentistry.  Following this by working in various Oral and Maxillofacial Departments in Portsmouth, Canterbury and Charing Cross Hospital in London as well as within general dental practice and prison dentistry.

Dr El-Kaddar gained the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and went on to complete the 3 year Master of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontology at UCL Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital.

Currently, Dr El-Kaddar is a part time clinical PhD Candidate and Honorary Researcher at the Centre for Oral Clinical Research and work as a Specialist Periodontist in private practice.
