Profile

Dr Andrzej Oborski qualified in 1983 from the Royal Dental Hospital of London School of Dental Surgery (University of London)

After qualification Andrzej held several training-grade hospital posts in Oral Surgery leading to a Registrar appointment at Morriston Hospital in Swansea.

Following a spell working overseas, Andrzej returned to London circa 1990, where over many years he has gained experience practicing both as a general dental practitioner and within special care dentistry.

In 2008 Andrzej was appointed to the post of part time clinical lecturer in Oral Surgery at the Institute of Dentistry. Since then he has been involved in the clinical teaching of Oral Surgery to QMUL dental students.

In 2019 Andrzej gained the Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Law and Ethics from the University of Bedfordshire. In 2020 Andrzej was awarded the FHEA.

Research

Performance

In 2018/19 Andrzej successfully completed a course of study at the University of Bedfordshire leading to the award of the Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Law and Ethics and he remains enrolled at the University to progress to the PGDiploma.

In October 2019 Andrzej successfully submitted his ADEPT application for the HEA Fellowship and achieved the status of Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in March 2020.
