Profile

An Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the Centre for Oral Clinical Research, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), Dr Mihai Tarce holds degrees in both dentistry and software engineering.
He has previously worked as a consultant in the Periodontology department at the University of Milan, Italy, and is the recipient of the 2015 ITI (International Team for Implantology) scholarship. He is currently enrolled in a doctoral programme in biomedical sciences (Periodontology) at KU Leuven, Belgium.
At the Centre for Oral Clinical Research, his main interest is computer-aided dentistry, specifically digital scanning, computer-aided treatment planning and computer-aided design of surgical guides.
