Dr Victor Miller

Profile

Dr Vic Miller is a dentist who has limited his practice to treating patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMD) since 1990. He holds B.Sc (Hons) from the University of Cape Town and a dental degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. He has attended numerous courses in TMD and pain and is a Diplomate and Board Credentialed by the American Academy of Pain Management. He has run consulting practices limited to TMD in a number of different countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and Israel. At present he has a referral practice in TMD in London, UK.

Teaching experience:

1990 to present

Teaching and clinical supervision to undergraduate dental students in the restorative clinic in various dental schools including the University of Saskatchewan, University of the Witwatersrand, the Hebrew University and Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry

1996 to the present

Teaching and supervision of postgraduate students in various aspects of TMD both in the UK and abroad

1996 to 2001

Supervision of master’s theses in the field of TMD – University of the Witwatersrand

Research Interests:

My research interest focuses on diagnosis of TMD and the effect of co morbid pain conditions
