After a 1-year course in Oral Surgery at the University of Padova, she joined the 2-year Master of Oral Implantology at the same University. In 2016 she won the prestigious scholarship from the International Team for Implantology, which is sponsoring 1-year ITI Scholarship at QMUL, Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, The Royal London Dental Hospital, London under the supervision of Professor Nikolaos Donos. She is also a PhD student at the PhD School in Mechatronics and Product Innovation Engineering at the University of Padova (Italy). Dr Brunello is a member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO), Italian Society of Odontostomatology and Maxillofacial Surgery (SIOCMF), International Team for Implantology (ITI). Dr Brunello major fields of interest are biomaterials, tissue engineering and stem cells in dental implant therapy and bone augmentation procedures. Her multidisciplinary approach has allowed the cooperation between different departments, in order to improve regenerative medicine strategies for the preclinical and clinical applications of stem cells and tissue-engineered bone models in different fields of investigation.
