The Centre for Dental Public Health and Primary Care boasts a multidisciplinary team of experts, including Dental Public Health Specialist researchers, Dental Care Professionals, and Clinical staff. This diverse group is complemented by Honorary members and collaborators from both academia and practice. Together, they bring a wealth of practical knowledge and experience in public health, general dental practice, and research. The Centre for Dental Public Health and Primary Care plays a pivotal role in the delivery of both undergraduate and postgraduate education within the Institute of Dentistry. We are responsible for teaching key areas such as Dental Public Health, Evidence-Based Dentistry, and research methodologies. Our undergraduate programs integrate public health principles with clinical practice, preparing students to tackle contemporary oral health challenges. At the postgraduate level, our MSc and PhD programs in Dental Public Health offer rigorous training in epidemiology, research design, and the application of public health strategies.
