Professor Greg Slabaugh is the Institute Director for the Digital Environment Research Institute, and a Professor of Computer Vision and AI. His primary research interests include computer vision and deep learning, with applications to computational photography and medical image computing. Greg is well positioned to lead DERI’s set-up phase since he has long standing leadership experience both in academia and in industry. He joined Queen Mary from Huawei where he was Chief Scientist in Computer Vision (EU).
Janet Mowbray is the Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director.
Emma Grant is the Institute Manager for the Digital Environment Research Institute and also the Queen Mary Turing Liaison for the Alan Turing Institute.
