Profile

Nancy is the Doctoral College team administrator and manages the day-to-day running of the Doctoral College in collaboration with the Head of Doctoral College. In addition to providing administrative support to the Doctoral College team, Nancy facilitates Doctoral College training events for both PGR students and supervisors and maintains staff and student training records in relation to this training.

Nancy is the first point of contact for PGR matters, both internally at Queen Mary and externally and liaises with colleagues across Queen Mary to ensure Queen Mary doctoral students have the best possible experience of doctoral research.  

Key Functions: 

  • Administrative support to the Head of Doctoral College and other team members on strategic projects
  • Liaison between Doctoral College and academic schools and institutes as well as professional services departments.

  • Enquiries regarding doctoral research matters from current or potential PGR students and current or potential PGR supervisor
  • Assistance with training courses for doctoral students and supervisors
  • Guidance regarding who to contact with specific queries around PGR.
