Understanding how compassionate pedagogy and a person centred approach can be adopted in teaching and learning
Dr. Mahesha Samaratunga's research focuses on understanding how compassionate pedagogy and a person centred approach (Carl Roger’s approach) can be adopted in teaching and learning. Her research also looks at how a ‘therapeutic alliance’ between the lecturer and student can promote social belonging in the learning space.
