The China International College Students' Innovation Competition National Finals were held in Shanghai from October 12-15. On October 16, President Xi Jinping replied to a letter from student representatives, encouraging them to promote scientific spirit, actively engage in technological innovation, and contribute their youthful energy to advancing international scientific exchange and technological progress.
The competition attracted 5.14 million projects from 153 countries and regions, with 1,410 projects qualifying for the national finals, making it highly competitive. Our university won 2 gold, 2 silver, and 14 bronze medals, ranking first among Beijing institutions! The National Academy student team, under the guidance of teachers Xu Tong, Fang Bin, Wang Han, Liu Jun, Gao Peng, Que Pei, Guo Kai and others, contributed 2 gold and 6 bronze medals (1 gold and 2 bronze in the main track, 1 gold and 4 bronze in international projects). This marked the first gold medal breakthrough in international projects while maintaining gold medal wins in the main track for two consecutive years.
