The BUPT-QMUL Teaching and Learning Centre (JTLC) co-organised a workshop with Lancaster University at the UK-China Joint Institute Alliance (JIA) 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) and TNE Conference.
The JIA was set up in 2017 and is supported by the British Council and the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE). The BUPT-QMUL JEI is one of their 38 member institutes.
The workshop “Fostering Entrepreneurship Skills Development” was chaired by Dr Ling Ma, Director of the JTLC. Prof Michael Chai (QM Director of JEI), Dr Vindya Wijeratne (JEI Director of Education), Dr Yasir Alfadhl (JEI Director of Assessment), Bindu Chib (MO of PDP) and colleagues from Lancaster University facilitated the group discussion.
Lancaster University introduced the e-CADRE project on the entrepreneurship workstream and QMUL opened the discussion on embedding entrepreneurship skills in curriculum design. The participants discussed entrepreneurship development from different perspectives. We have collected amazing views and inspiring ideas and will use the outcomes for future development and collaboration.
