Abstract:
Digital transformation is the buzzword on the lips of almost any company in industry. When we think of digital we think of technology. When we talk about digital transformation, we talk about technology. Technology, however, is the easy part. Our digital era has presented industry with a need for cultural change that many fail to see. In this talk I discuss why we have the issues we have and what I did to address them.
Bio:
Richard has a unique profile that combines over 20 years of experience in industry with software development expertise.
Having had various leadership roles with large industry players, recently he has been responsible for Digital Innovation and Smart Manufacturing - and with that merging a long tradition of Kaizen with a modern agile approach to organisation.
Alongside industry, he has a passion for all things data and software related, running courses covering subjects such as game development, mobile applications, web scraping, social media and hardware interfaces.
He is fluent in English, German and Italian.
