We’re making digital guitars, autonomous robots and more using Arduinos at an exciting workshop in celebration of World Arduino Day. Arduinos are simple micro controllers that can be used to make amazing gadgets with no prior experience. So if you’re an electronics or programming novice, or if you know a few things already come along and see how to get creative with coding. Staff and students from the Schools of Physics and Electronic Engineering and Computer Science will be showcasing their creations and helping you build your own projects.
This event is best suited to adults and young people aged 12 and up or anyone with an interest in using electronics to make cool things happen. We can show you all you need to know, so no experience necessary! We’ll be running short projects from 11.00am till 3.00pm and providing drinks and snacks to keep you going. Drop in whenever you like but get ready to get engrossed for an hour or so. this event is free but places are limited, please let us know you’re coming to avoid disappointment.
