Degl’Innocenti joined QMUL in September 2023 as Senior Lecturer moving from Lancaster University. Previously, he was working in the Cavendish Laboratory in the University of Cambridge, in Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (IT) and at the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich ETHZ (CH), where he obtained his PhD in Physics. Dr Degl’Innocenti produced high impact and original research in several fields, ranging from the development of nonlinear integrated devices in the VIS-IR range to the investigation of mid-IR intersubband polaritons, to the design and photonics engineering of quantum cascade lasers and metamaterial devices in the Terahertz range.
