PhD fees and funding

Finding funding is an important element of the application process so we recommend that you begin to explore your funding options as early as possible.

Tuition fees for postgraduate research degrees can be found at the following webpage:

Whether you are self-funding or will be applying for external funding you should ensure that you have a realistic plan to secure sufficient funding to complete the research and writing-up process within the normal time period. This is usually three to four years for full-time programmes, and six to seven years for part-time programmes.

PhD Studentships

Please see our postgraduate research studentships page for details of our funded PhD opportunities.
