Academic Advisor
You will be assigned an academic advisor on entry. Your academic advisor is the main point of contact for discussion about your studies, your academic progress, and any academic or personal problems you may have. They can also act as a signpost to other useful services provided by central College.
Chair of the (PG) Subject Examination Board
Dr John Schormans
The Chair of the PG Subject Examination Board is responsible for maintaining academic assessment standards for both coursework and examinations. They also chair the Subject Examination Board meetings at which student progression and awards are considered.
Director of Taught Postgraduate Studies
Dr Eliane Bodanese
The principal responsibility of the Director of Taught Postgraduate Studies is to ensure the smooth running of the postgraduate degree programmes offered in the School. This role is, therefore, primarily administrative. If students have problems with their programme of study, they should consult their advisor in the first instance. However, an advisor may recommend that a student consult the Director of Postgraduate Studies where more general problems with the structure and/or content of the Masters degree programme are involved.
Postgraduate Senior Tutors
Dr Qianni Zhang
Dr Søren Riis
The Senior Tutor acts as a secondary point of contact for more difficult academic and personal issues. They will approve any changes to your programme of study or modules, and can offer advice on central College regulations, policies and procedures. They provide more specialist support for serious academic and personal problems. They also chair the Student-Staff Liaison Committee.
