The People's Legacy: community participitation in the shaping of East London 2012 and beyond

Focusing on the extent to which the Olympic Games can act as a catalyst for transformation in the places and people it touches, this event draws on the lessons of previous regeneration initiatives. Organised by the City Centre at Queen Mary, in association with the Olympic Park Legacy Company, the event will explore potential for 2012 to set a new standard in social, economic and political legacy.
