Scott E Page is the Leonid Hurwicz Collegiate Professor of Complex Systems, Political Science and Economcs at the University of Michigan, where he directs the Center for The Study of Complex Systems and is a senior fellow in the Michigan Society of Fellows. He is also an external faculty member of the Santa Fe Institute. He is the author of three books and has published papers on a variety of topics including mechanism design, public health interventions, voting, the foundations of signals, public good provision, cultural differences, game shows, chain stores, urban sprawl, experimental economics, path dependence, the complexity of history, agent based models, and learning in games. He recently released a video course titled Understanding Complexity that provides an introduction to complex systems theory.
An award winning teacher, Scott has also advised dozens of leading companies, as well as government agencies on the relevance of diversity to innovation and performance. His latest book Diversity and Complexity will be available in November from Princeton University Press.
