Miri Rubin, QMUL, School of History, Jews and Emotions in European Religious Culture: Words and Images Daniel Wildman, QMUL, School of History, Humour and Popular Anti-Semitism in Early 20th Century GermanyIn this seminar, Miri Rubin and Daniel Wildman will address the vexed relationship between emotionality, anti-Semitism and visual culture from both early modern and twentieth-century perspectives. Their presentations will be followed by a round-table discussion on the theoretical and methodological challenges raised by this field, chaired by Thomas Dixon.
