Emotional economies of vacant spaces reuse: performing 'reactivation' In times of economic recession arts and cultural practices are often encouraged to take over vacant spaces, to promote imaginative reconstructions of 'vibrant' cities. This presentation will explore the conflicting politics and emotions associated with urban 'reactivation' in contemporary London.
