The Royal London hospital warmly invites you to our annual MS Research Day on Saturday, 28th January 2012, from 10:00 am onwards. The day is organised as part of our public engagement in science and patient education initiative. The MS research day, is specifically for people who are living with multiple sclerosis who want to know more about what current research is being undertaken, new drug discoveries, lifestyle advice and a fantastic opportunity to talk to the doctors, nurses, scientists involved. The day is held in central London at the weekend, so that as many people as possible are able to attend. It’s very informal. This year each speaker will move between three smaller groups, addressing them all. This means you can enjoy all the talks in smaller, more interactive groups. You can stay in one place and hear everything, or you can move between talks if you wish. If you want to talk directly to a researcher, or you just need a break and refreshments, there’s a room for you to relax, have a hot drink and talk to the team informally. Talks will be less formal, less technical and more interactive. Each talk will be filmed and put online, so you can watch them all again at home. We’ve created this new day from your feedback, and we hope you find it informative and enjoyable.
