The purpose of the conference is to assess the first three years of the UK Supreme Court and, more broadly, discuss key developments in English law. It will examine three themes. The role of the Supreme Court in constitutional law and human rights; comparative perspectives from Europe and the United States; private and commercial law developments examining both specific judgments delivered by the Supreme Court and more general themes on the evolution of the law.
