As part of the 'Seminars in Genomic Medicine' series, jointly organised with Geonomics England, we have invited experts from around the world to explore subjects important in genomic medicine and share their experiences of genomic projects. Themes for the seminars span across science, medicine and technology, and will be of value to researchers and practitioners who are interested in how genomics is adopted in practice for healthcare.
Seminars are open to all and combine expert insight with lively discussion and networking opportunities. The talk will be followed by an opportunity for questions and an informal drinks reception.

In this talk, Dr Cynthia Morton will share new insights from The Developmental Genome Anatomy Project (DGAP), in which more than 150 subjects with apparently balanced chromosome rearrangements have been sequenced revealing a wide variety of genes in human development. Join us to learn how insights from the project have shaped a new standard of care in prenatal diagnosis of structural chromosome rearrangements.
