Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham, in partnership with BeatsLearning and Queen Mary University, have organised 'Sounds of an Unquiet Mind', an event celebrating mental health through music, art, spoken word and science. This event will raise money to support residents in Newham and Tower Hamlets who have mental health issues, with a focus on providing creative therapy.
With more acts TBC, the line-up includes Lowkey, the London Philharmonic Choir, City of London Symphonia, SAUDHA (The Society of Poetry and Indian Music) and spoken word performers from all parts of the community.
There will also be a raffle on the night with prizes including two first-class channel tunnel tickets, and two-day passes to Disneyworld.

Where will funds raised go?
Money raised by the Sounds of an Unquiet Mind event will be split evenly between Mind in Tower Hamlets and Newham and BeatsLearning. Funds will be used to support local residents who experience mental health or emotional issues, with the focus on expanding services such as the creative writing group.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Public transport is the easiest way to reach the People's Palace.
Stepney Green is on the District and Hammersmith and City Lines. Mile End station is also a 10 minute walk away and is on the Central, District and Hammersmith and City Lines.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You can provide your ticket either in printed form or on your smart phone.
A limited number of free tickets are reserved for people currently in receipt of benefits or with lived experience of mental health issues. All ticket sales support much needed mental health services so if you are able to buy a ticket then please do.
