The introductory course covers ethics, recruitment, piloting, design, reporting, monitoring and process evaluation with introductions to analysis, sample size calculations and health economics. The advanced course covers systematic review, health economic analysis and statistical aspects in more detail.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at anyone involved in or with an interest in the design, conduct, analysis or reporting of pragmatic trials in the academic or NHS sector. The course is aimed at clinicians, allied health professionals or methodologists including statisticians and health economists.
