Helping to answer questions surrounding the quality of our environments; this one-day conference will explore the issue of air quality within buildings; communities; and cities. Speakers from industry and academia will set the scene and discuss recent innovations stemming from research at Queen Mary and the Alan Turing Institute; looking at potential solutions presented through harnessing data; unleashing the power of machine learning; and cultivating artificial intelligence. Queen Mary University of London conferences are open to all; regardless of ethnicity; religion; disability; or gender.
Chris Muller is Technical Director for Purafil, Inc. (Doraville, Georgia USA) with responsibilities for technical support services and various research and development functions. Chris has written and spoken extensively on the subject of environmental air quality and the application and use of gas-phase air filtration, corrosion control and monitoring, electronic equipment reliability and RoHS.
Having led the development of the London Air Quality Network to become the largest urban network in Europe, Dr Fuller has pursued network data analysis techniques to characterise trends and changes in urban air pollution. Much of Dr Fuller's research is focused on the source apportionment of PM10 concentrations, to separate trends in primary PM concentrations from sources in London, from outside the city, from Europe and beyond.
This conference has received provisional accreditation from the CPD Certification Service.
