The Annual Arts and Culture Lecture is the flagship event of the QMUL arts and culture programme. Please join us as we celebrate our 2nd year of arts and culture.
This year’s lecture will be delivered by the stand-up comedian, actor and presenter, Nish Kumar. Nish is the host of the satirical news programme,The Mash Report on BBC 2 and stars in the Comedy Central travel show Joel & Nish vs The World. He’s a regular contributor to Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, QI and many others, and is currently on a nationwide tour. He studied English at university and once said that it was "either comedy or being Jimi Hendrix". Thankfully, he chose comedy.
Nish will be performing a specially written set for us and setting out his vision of an inclusive and socially diverse arts culture. This event is presented in association with the educational charity Arts Emergency.
This event is part of the QMUL Public Lecture Series.
