Time: 12:30 - 8:00pm Venue: Arts Two, room 3.20, Queen Mary University of London, Mile End Road, London, E1 4NS
The BISA Ethics and World Politics working group and Queen Mary’s Theory Lab are delighted to sponsor a half-day workshop looking on critical and realistic approaches to global justice. Global injustice persists despite considerable public attention, numerous government and charitable initiatives, and a voluminous academic literature. The intractable nature of the problem of global injustice provides good reason to think that something has gone wrong in how we understand justice and the political action taken to address it. In this workshop three eminent scholars will explore how we might approach the pursuit of global justice in ways that are both critical and realistic in their pursuit of a better world.

Prof Michael Goodhart, University of Pittsburgh
