This special in-conversation event with vaccine expert and alumnus, Professor Sir Andrew Pollard (Medicine MBBS, 1989) marked the third and first in-person instalment of our ‘Alumni Angles’ event series. Sir Andrew is Director of the Oxford Vaccine Group and leads the team who developed the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for COVID-19. The event was chaired by Dr Vanessa Apea, Consultant in Genito-Urinary and HIV Medicine at Barts Health NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London.
