How do I get a new EDA account?

The request should come through the departmental administrator/support staff so that they are aware of any newly created accounts.

A completed New Budget & EDA Request Form [DOC 23KB] should be e-mailed to the relevant Sector Finance Manager (see Contact us list).

The request will be processed within 3 working days and details of the account sent to the requestor and the administrator/support.

Where can I get the latest EDA balance?

The departmental administrator/support staff should be contacted in the first instance. A summary report of all EDA balances is currently sent to the department each month. Departments also have access to the upgraded Agresso web based reports.

Do Financial Management authorise ‘Request for Advance’ forms?

No, once they have been signed off by the grant holder and an authorised signatory, they should be taken directly to the Accounts Payable section.

Do Financial Management authorise Clinical Trial/Exam – ‘Request for advance’ form?

No, once authorised by the department, it should be handed directly to the cashiers in the Accounts Receivable section.

Where can I get the latest FRF balance?

There’s automated monthly FRF report sent out to users at the end of each month. If you would like the most up to date balance, this can be found on agresso web under reports, ‘WEBn - FRF Budget Summary by CostC or BudCode’. If you have any queries regarding FRF, please email your department’s finance managers to assist you further.
