Spectroscopy Laboratory

This research facility was established to house our collection of adaptable and versatile spectrometers including a Thermo UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Thermo FT-IR Nicolet iS10 Spectrometer and Agilent Cary Eclipse Flourescence Spectrophotometer.

Instruments:

• UV - VIS - Spectrophotometer
• FT- IR - Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy - Smart iTX Optical Base, AR Diamond Crystal Plate for Smart iTX and and X700
• Cary Eclipse Fluorescence Spectrophotometer – Enable sourcing of carbon-based greenhouse gas fluxes (aquatic & atmospheric)
