On 5th October 2018, the 3D Flocs Project and HR Wallingford will be hosting a unique event to discuss the issues of sediment floc behaviour and dynamics. The aim of this one-day workshop will be to engage stakeholders and modellers with the new 3D floc data acquired by the Project. This will enable discussion on the future research directions and potential applications of techniques/methods developed by the Project to better understand cohesive/mixed sediment behaviour (settling and erosion), bed stability and bedform development and microbial sediment processes.
