With the UK's decision to leave the European Union there is now an important debate concerning the form that the country's trading relations with the EU will take. Missing from much of that debate has been a consideration of workers' rights and labour provisions in a new trading arrangement. Here we extend our work on the EU's model of trade and sustainable development labour provisions to consider how these issues will work in the UK's future trading relationship with the EU and other trade partners.
