MIGRALAC – The Latin American and Caribbean Migration Research network is a forum for the exchange of work and ideas among researchers and scholars who are working on a broad range of issues relating to Latin American and Caribbean migration and diasporas.
MIGRALAC aims to bring together people from different disciplines in order to identify research gaps and encourage more comparative and interdisciplinary approaches to migration to, from and within in the region.
The main aims of the MIGRALAC network are:
MIGRALAC was first established at the University of Oxford in 2014. In 2015, it moved to be hosted at Queen Mary, University of London but with joint involvement from the University of Oxford and the University of Birmingham.
