David Doyle

David Doyle is an Associate Professor of Latin American Politics at the University of Oxford. David’s research and teaching interests include comparative politics and comparative political economy. He is particularly interested in ideology and partisanship in Latin America. Currently, he is focusing on the role of domestic economic experiences, institutional incentives, and international economic integration to explain this behaviour. As part of this, I am also currently involved in a project examining the speeches of Latin American presidents, in order to ascertain why they move in the ideological space.
